3 - Discord Rules

All of our server chat rules also apply to our Discord server.

3.1 Hate Speech/Explicit Language and Media
Do not post explicit language, media (adult content), or messages that could offend a player or group based on their religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, etc. This includes intentional and accidental offenses.

3.2 Spamming
Do not spam, send wall texts, or flood chat on our Discord server, such as sending random messages to flood channels or sending large copy-paste messages. This rule also includes media.

3.3 Threats
Do not make threats or express wishes of harm towards any player or staff member, regardless of whether it is a joke. This applies to private messages as well.

3.4 Phishing, Scamming, and Doxxing
Do not attempt to trick other members into revealing personal information such as passwords, financial information, addresses, accounts, etc. Leaking anyone's private or personal information without their consent can result in a blacklist from the entire network. If this happens, please contact a staff member.

3.5 Impersonation
Do not pretend to be a staff member, content creator, or any other player.

3.6 Advertising
Do not advertise other servers, server IPs, server websites, server stores, etc. Promoting social media accounts, Discord servers, YouTube videos, streams, goods, or services is also disallowed. Users with the Media rank may advertise their channel, social media accounts, videos, and streams related to OG-Network. Other users may advertise the same content in #clips-and-videos on Discord.

Note: You can share your Guild discord in guild-recruitment.

3.7 Controversial Discussions
Do not create drama regarding politics, religion, or other sensitive topics on our Discord server. Arguing with staff members about their punishment decisions also falls under this offense.

3.8 Inappropriate Names, Profile Pictures, and Statuses
Do not use inappropriate names, profile pictures, or statuses.

3.9 Irritating Voice Chat and Chat Behavior
Do not bother players in voice channels by using voice modifiers/changers, screaming, channel hopping, playing music to annoy others, etc. Do not misuse chat channels, such as chatting in #bug-reports. Read the descriptions, pins, and names of these channels. If unsure about a channel's use, ask a staff member.

3.10 Bypassing Punishments
Do not attempt to evade a ban, mute, or timeout, as this will result in a permanent punishment.

3.11 Discord's Terms of Service

4 - Forum Rules​

4.1 Swearing, Harassing and Bullying
Do not make posts or profile statuses that contain insults that aim to harass or bully. Making threads arguing with staff members' decisions on punishments and appeals also falls under this rule.

4.2 Spamming and Non-English Posts
Do not make unwanted or unnecessary posts repeatedly in a short period. Asking for free things, accounts, ranks, or other goods and services; or continuously asking for punishments to be removed when an appeal has already been denied all go under this offence. Furthermore, please only send messages and posts in English to better moderate chats.

4.3 Threats
Do not make any threats or wishes of harm towards any player or staff member, regardless if it is a joke. This rule also applies to private messages.

4.4 Phishing, Scamming and Doxxing
Do not attempt to trick other members into revealing personal information such as their password, financial information, address, accounts, etc. Furthermore, leaking anyone's personal information without their consent can result in a blacklist from the entire network. If this happens, please contact a staff member.

4.5 Impersonation
Do not pretend to be a staff member, content creator, or any other player. This ensures our player's safety and that players receive official information to prevent problems for them and us in the future.

4.6 Advertising
Do not advertise other Minecraft servers, streams, videos, and social media. Sharing video clips from other servers also goes under this rule (This rule does not count if the video comes with a suggestion). We allow our members to send short clips on the server to showcase a feature or show a moment but not to advertise.

4.7 Stats Farming
Do not ask for likes or farm messages to increase your forum stats. If a question has been answered already and you have nothing else to add to the previous questions, don't answer it.

4.8 Pointless or Controversial Discussions.
Please respect the original reason for a thread or post. Avoid having off-topic discussions and keep off-topic discussions to other threads. Additionally, controversial discussions are not allowed to be made in posts or profile statuses.

4.9 Inappropriate Profiles
Please keep your profile appropriate. This includes your profile name, profile picture, and signature.
