1.21.8 Upgrade
After several complicating factors that kept us on the 1.21.1 version of Minecraft, we are finally in a position to upgrade. We have chosen the semi-latest version of 1.21.8, however because of the steps we made in this update, it will be easier to update versions in the future, possibly in the very near future! Brand new event: KOTH​

Koths are here! Fight against your friends and foes to become the king of the hill. You have 15 minutes to gain the crown. Since this is a new thing for the server, we have enabled Keep Inventory in the Koth Area. The Koth Area only enables when the koth is running. This means when a koth is not active the warzone is normal and that area is not affected. When a koth is started the area becomes active too. SMP 3.1 is finally here​

After the mess of the End Expansion, we had to delay the SMP 3.1 update. BUT, it is finally here (on 28 June @ 10:30 PM GMT).

Added Money Boosters​

Money Boosters give a global boost on the Admin Shop sell price. There are certain limitations to these:
+ Only one can be active at a time
+ They must be redeemed in-game to start
+ They will expire after a certain amount of time if not used
+ They will only work on: `Blocks`, `Minerals`, `Farming` shops

Added Extra Homes​

Extra Homes are only available to OG++. This information is crucial in understanding how they work:

The OG++ base home limit it five. Buying extra homes adds only to the base limit.
If you buy five extra homes, your new limit is 10. Buying 10 extra after will only add to your OG++ Base Limit. Extra Homes are NOT cumulative...

Here’s What You Need To Know:
Gameplay

1. At the start of each SG game, players will be able to vote for a game scenario and map.
2. Game scenarios change how a SG game is played. For example, the “random teams” scenario automatically gives everybody a teammate, and the “only bows” scenario does exactly what you think!

Hey everybody, good news! The OG SMP is now BEDROCK COMPATIBLE

Bedrock players can connect using the ip og-network.net, and ensuring the port is set to 19132.

Due to this, OG+ subscriptions have been reset (unfortunately out of our control), but you can re-subscribe with no issue, sorry for the inconvenience.

It's that time of year! I wanted to do something for the holidays on the network for everyone to enjoy! This update includes a holiday redesign for the hub, a present hunt event on the SMP and changes/improvements to the cosmetics system. For specific details and more information, please read below.

Challengers – Beta Release
Hey everyone, after a long wait we finally have challengers ready! A 5v5 gamemode for competitive and casual players, with a range of different classes and abilities. Right now, the gamemode is in beta as there is a range of abilities and features which need testing, but we hope to have a full release next month

So, some of you may be asking what challengers is, so let me explain. There are 5 challengers (classes), all with their strengths, weaknesses and different abilities, each wearing different sets of armour.

1. Assassin – Wearing leather armour, the assassin may seem like the weakest class, but is far from that, having high agility and many movement-based abilities.

Hello everyone! If you didn't already know, there is currently a guild PvP event going on - on the SMP!

The Event:
Heres how it works, oh and to participate you have to be part of a guild. For 1 week, each guilds kills will be tracked, and this saturday (for US players) the guild with the most kills will win! In order to get kills however, you have to kill players who are members of other guilds. You cannot just kill random guildless players, as that will not count.

Rewards:
First Place: Will receive 4 OG ranks for members of the guild (the guild leader will pick who receives the reward)
Second Place: Will receive 4 rank upgrades for members of the guild
Third Place: Will receive $75,000, split across members of the guild

So, thought I'd do a proper post about the so called tree experiment for those who are still confused, or those who are just stumbling across it. Also, we have a new command now, so read on to see whats up.

How It Works:
Basically, for every view this video gets, 1 block is placed in a "tree" like structure. Nobody knows what it will look like when it's done, and what could happen. The entire process is also being livestreamed 24/7 on my channel, and of course you can join the experimental server in the hub to see the tree in person. As it stands right now, the stream will run for 1 week and then end, but the viewers will decide how long the tree will continue to grow on the server.

Marketplace:
The marketplace is entirely run by the players, and we want to create that sense of a hustling, bustling and active community. The marketplace, which is only a couple dozen blocks from spawn contains 42 beautifully crafted stalls, which you can rent and set up chest shops in. Players will then have to continue paying daily, or lose their stall. Get to the market fast, because there is only so many stalls to go around!
